Daley’s on Yates is the latest hospitality venture by the acclaimed Troy-based Old Daley Custom Catering Company. The vision and launch of Daley’s on Yates restaurant and bar was a work of passion for members of the Old Daley management team and Old Daley owners Gene Coletti, Jim Pettit/CFO and Marty Keary. Alongside our hospitality venue Old Daley on Crooked Lake, this fresh new concept in downtown Schenectady features; quality comfort food and specialty cocktails, in an inviting, unexpected space. Far more than just a place to grab a drink or a bite, Daley’s on Yates opens out onto a private, tree-lined patio courtesy of a set of operational garage doors, as well as outdoor dining and lounge areas, complete with fire pits. Whether you are dropping in for a quick bite before a Proctor’s show, after work cocktails, date night or a special occasion, our menu features a variety of dishes that are approachable and inclusive with something for everyone. We support local, natural, sustainable and organic practices whenever possible. At Daley’s on Yates, we want you to come in, get comfortable and stay awhile because our guests aren’t just guests - they’re friends.
Our History
Fast forward to 2018, Old Daley Custom Catering is recognized as a leading catering and hospitality business throughout the greater capital region. In 2010, Old Daley Custom Catering purchased the historic Crooked Lake House located just outside Albany and Old Daley On Crooked Lake was born. The captivating lakeside estate offers the glamorous feel and luxurious indulgences of a bygone era.
Old Daley On Crooked Lake has become destination event venue of unrivaled elegance and hospitality. Getting back to our hospitality roots, Daley’s on Yates Restaurant & Bar opened June 21, 2018. The site of a former taxi garage, the restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience in an unexpected urban space. Garage doors open to a tree-lined patio furnished with cozy lounge furniture, fire pits, an outdoor covered bar and outdoor dining.
